Oregon Wine Country is famous for its captivating vistas as well as its vintages. We count ourselves lucky to take in these views every day.
Founder & Artist, Giorgio Furioso says it took him five decades to discover the Oregon Wine Country. He couldn’t be happier with his find, and this is merely the beginning!
In 2014, Giorgio purchased 90 acres in Oregon. He acquired the Yamhill Carlton AVA, next to WillaKenzie Estate Winery in one of Oregon’s finest vineyard neighborhoods. Giorgio and his team are gradually transforming this property into new production vineyards, while also maintaining the land’s natural forested beauty. This devotion to quality production and preservation is cultivated out of his respect and love for Oregon Wine Country.
As of 2016, 22 acres had been planted – 5 acres of chardonnay, 12 acres of Pinot Noir and 1 acre of lesser-known Friulano, a white varietal from Giorgio’s native Italy. Friulano is a rare find in Oregon.
But, vines take time to mature. Impatient to begin producing wine, Giorgio also purchased the acclaimed Juliard Vineyard and associated winery (formerly Crumbled Rock) in premier Pinot Noir Country — the Dundee Hills AVA. He gave the new entity his family name.
